5.3(3.2)

5.3(3.2) Communicate own decisions clearly and constructively

When making a decision, it is always a good idea to be confident in it. Every now and then someone may disagree with your decision, and if confident you will be able to strongly back it up.
Having multiple reasons kept somewhere makes sure that your point will be supported by valid and relevant reasons when it comes to explaining your choice.

I believe having three reasons should be the minimum, and should be a sufficient amount to show you have thought through your choice.
This is another aspect of essential communication skill.

When going through the process of making your decision, it is best to make notes of the positive aspects of your choice, so for the future you are prepared.

For example, if an editor made the decision to choose a specific piece of music for their film, they could make notes along the way as to why they liked, why does it work with the film or if it shows a dramatic effect and why no other piece of music would work ?

If you have these notes somewhere stored, then if asked as to why you made that decision, you will be able to present valid and relevant reasons, making your decision a strong one
