2.2 (2.1)

2.2(2.1) Describe examples of effective presentation techniques
Presenting in front of an audience big or small can be nerve wracking for anyone. A lot of preparation should go into a presentation, and the main factor is keeping it interesting!

Preparing for you presentation beforehand is key. When it comes to the knowledge of your presentation, you need as much as you can! The more facts, stats and information you have, the more confident you will feel when telling people about the particular subject of your presentation.
Another great technique for keeping your presentation interesting is to make it possibly interactive. Even just by asking the audience questions, it will keep them engaged and focused on what you are saying.

When it comes to presentation time, it’s incredibly easy to let the nerves get the better of you. However you must remember this will affect your performance so try to stay as calm as you can, and concentrate on the audience.
Keeping yourself active throughout your presentation is an effective technique.

If standing still and mumbling throughout, members of the audience may very quickly lose interest, however through techniques using the voice and movement it keeps people alert and awake, giving them no choice but to keep their complete focus on you and you only.

The whole point of presenting is expressing to others your ideas, thoughts or facts about a certain subject. Your voice is a pretty important factor during a presentation, so you will always have to remember to remain articulate, clear, loud (depending on the size of the audience) and expressive.
The more expressive you are, this will show the audience how much more passionate you are furthermore keeping them curious.

You may not remember all of these techniques on the day but as long as you are able to keep in mind a couple of them, you will be able to progress from there.
